Florida East Coast Railway has a new, more convenient portal for shipper interaction.
The Florida East Coast Railway has a new web-based portal the company says streamlines functions such as booking, submission of shipping instructions, track-and-trace, and billing.
The freight railroad, which operates between Miami and Jacksonville, previously offered track and trace capabilities, as well as an order entry system, but the FECR Connect portal combines both applications in a single site.
The integrated portal is more convenient for customers because it minimizes data input and gives them the ability to track all billing information, as well as monitor shipments in real-time, company officials said in a news release.
