GENCO expands reverse logistics for electronics
GENCO Supply Chain Solutions said it has expanded its reverse logistics services to include test, remanufacture, repair and refurbishment of consumer electronics and information technology equipment.
The Pittsburgh-based company also appointed Bert Munnikhuis to oversee the operation. He will be responsible for strategy, business development and operations management, focusing on consumer electronics and IT manufacturers and retailers, the company said.
Prior to joining GENCO, Munnikhuis was vice president of program management for global services at Solectron (now Flextronics), where he managed the interface between customers and the operational entities tasked with contract management. He has also held management positions at Teleplan International, MDT, Phase Metrics, Cambrian Systems and Burroughs Corp.
