Vehicle automation can be a complex topic. One might argue that their minivan has cruise control and is, therefore, autonomous to an extent. At the same time, there are prototype trucks crossing the country with nothing but tech behind the wheel. In other words, the phrase “autonomous vehicle” could refer to many different things.
