CATHAY PACIFIC TO BEGIN SAPPORO SERVICE, RESUME COLOMBO SERVICE
The Hong Kong Shippers’ Council (HKSC) has welcomed Cathay Pacific Airways’ launch of flights to Sapporo starting Dec. 2.
Cathay Pacific will operate a twice-weekly, non-stop service on Sundays and Thursdays to the city that lies on Japan’s northern island of Hokkaido. The new Sapporo service brings Cathay Pacific’s Hong Kong-Japan services to a total of 83 flights per week.
The HKSC also welcomed Cathay Pacific’s Dec. 1 resumption of flights to Colombo, Sri Lanka. As before, Cathay Pacific will operate three return flights per week that are routed through Bangkok.
