Polar Air cargo adds flights on Asia route

   Polar Air Cargo said it is doubling the frequency of its new Europe-to-Asia service based on positive early results.

   Polar, a subsidiary of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, launched service between its hub in Liege, Belgium to Seoul, South Korea via Taipei, Taiwan on Aug. 20. The flights, which originate and end in the United States, operate three times per week.

   The extra flights, which commence Nov. 18, will depart daily Monday through Saturday.
