A second StopTheTires protest scheduled to take place Nov. 26-29 has been canceled, according to the group’s Facebook page.

The group, which had picked Veterans Day for its first protest to boycott delivery of nonessential supplies to major U.S. cities “as a way to show support for President Trump,” said it was waiting on the final results of the 2020 election before staging another protest.

The one-day strike last Wednesday had no impact on the supply chain, according to industry sources.

The group, made up of truck drivers, members of the U.S. military and their families, along with Trump supporters, had also wanted to take a stand against President-elect Joe Biden’s “ban on fracking.”

Biden clarified, however, that his proposal only opposes hydraulic fracking on federal lands, not all fracking.

This is a developing story.
