Direct ChassisLink, Inc. names president, Kansas City Southern adds four new members to its board of directors, and Genesee & Wyoming appoints board chairman.
Direct ChassisLink, Inc. (DCLI) has named Brian Taylor president of the company. Taylor, who will join DCLI on June 1, was most recently the chief executive officer of the Jacksonville Port Authority. He has also worked at Sea-Land and Horizon Lines in senior leadership roles that spanned a range of functions, including logistics, sales and marketing, operations, and general management.
Kansas City Southern (KCS) has added four new members to its board of directors, which include Mitchell Krebs, Lydia Beebe, Janet Kennedy and Henry Maier.
Krebs has held the role of president and CEO of Coeur Mining, Inc. since 2011. He previously served as Coeur’s senior vice president and chief financial officer.
Beebe has previously served in various executive roles at Chevron Corporation, most recently as its chief governance officer, and as an experienced director of public companies. She currently serves as senior of counsel with the law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
Kennedy is the president of Microsoft Canada. She has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing of business solutions, and previously spent time in the West and Central regions of the United States as the vice president of enterprise customers.
Maier has been in his current role as president and CEO of FexEx Ground since 2013. He previously held other senior executive roles in the areas of marketing, communications and strategic planning.
Genesee & Wyoming Inc. (G&W) has appointed president and CEO John Hellmann chairman of the board, succeeding Mortimer Fuller III. Hellmann, who will continue to serve as president and CEO, has served on the board since 2006. He joined G&W as chief financial officer in 2000, was promoted to president in 2005, and succeeded Mr. Fuller as CEO in 2007.
G&W stockholders elected directors Albert Neupaver, Joseph Pyne, Hunter Smith and Mr. Hellmann for the term that expires in 2020. Directors whose terms of office continued after the annual meeting include Ricahrd Allert, Hans Michael Norkus, Ann Reese, Richard Bott, Øivind Lorentzen III and Mark Scudder.
