MOL SELECTS NEW GENERAL AGENT IN VIETNAM
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd. said Tuesday it has named Vietnam Japan Trading and Container Service Co. Ltd. as MOL’s general agent in Vietnam, effective Feb. 21.
Based in Ho Chi Minh City, with branch offices in Hanoi, Haiphong, Danang and Quinhon, the new agency will change its name to MOL (Vietnam) Co. Ltd., and will be “wholly dedicated to MOL liner service,” MOL said in a statement.
MOL (Vietnam) Co. Ltd. will act as a shipping agency, non-vessel-operating common carrier, cargo forwarder for sea and air, and facilitator of trucking and warehousing operations.
