Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc. has promoted Mike Liantonio to senior vice president and general manager of its Transportation Division.
He previously served as the Secaucus, N.J.-based freight forwarder’s vice president of sales and operations. Liantonio, a 25-year industry veteran, joined Yusen Logistics in October 2010. Prior to that he held management roles at Momentum Transportation, Vexure, and NYK Logistics.
Joe Giudice was also promoted to senior vice president and general manager of Yusen Logistics’ Warehouse Division, having held the role of vice president of operations support.
Giudice also joined the company in October 2010 after more than 35 years in the shipping industry, including a period as vice president of global distribution and logistics for Liz Claiborne and management roles at other retailers such as Gantos and Casual Corner Group.
