Bettina Warburg confirmed as Transparency18 keynote speaker

Bettina Warburg, blockchain researcher, entrepreneur, and educator, has been confirmed as a keynote speaker at FreightWaves’ conference Transparency18, which will take place in Atlanta, Georgia, next May. Warburg is co-founder of Animal Ventures, “a venture studio and consultancy focused on building startups, educating executives, and designing comprehensive strategies to help large companies, governments, and SMEs take advantage some of the most advanced technology companies coming to market.” Animal Ventures’ practice areas include blockchain, the Internet of Things, augmented and artificial intelligence, and digital platforms.

Warburg’s November 2016 TED talk on blockchain (embedded below), covered by FreightWaves earlier this year, has over 800K views on YouTube and over 2.4M views on TED.com:

Prior to Animal Ventures, Warburg earned a BS at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, and an MSc from Oxford University. Warburg speaks at leading fora around the world about blockchain, global governance, supply chains, innovation in health care, and the decentralization of economies. She will be joined at Transparency18 by three other keynote speakers: Don Tapscott, Jason Schenker, and Tony Seba.
