CN reaches tentative labor deal with IBEW union in Canada

​​Canadian National Railway (CN) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) System Council 11 have tentatively agreed to renew their labor agreement covering around 700 signals and communications employees in Canada.

   Canadian National (CN) has reached a tentative labor deal with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) union System Council 11, according to a statement from the company.
   CN and the IBEW have agreed to renew their contract covering around 700 signals and communications employees in Canada. Full details of the agreement, however, have been withheld pending ratification by union membership.
   The Montreal-based Class I railroad said it expects to have the results of an IBEW ratification vote in May.
