DGX starts U.S. outbound service to Brazil

Dependable Global Express, through its Latin American Trades division, has started a new fixed-weekly container service to Brazil.

The service will operate from Miami. Freight from around the country will be consolidated into containers by Resources Warehouse. When the containers arrive in Brazil's Port of Santos, the cargo will be unloaded and distributed by DGX's agent Carga Plus.

Matthew Silver, DGX's Latin America Trades division director, said Brazil's import requirements range from heavy energy equipment to numerous consumer goods. 'There is substantial need for freight companies with experience in the Latin American trade to serve this fast growing market,' he said.

The division also intends to soon start an air freight service to Brazil, as well as a U.S. import service from the South American country.

DGX is the international division of Dependable Cos., based in Rancho Dominguez, Calif.
