Crowley doubles Jacksonville warehouse space

Crowley doubles Jacksonville warehouse space

Crowley moved to a new 70,000-square-foot warehouse at Jacksonville Port Authority’s Dames Point location, doubling its North Florida warehouse space.

The company said the bonded warehouse is close to the city’s new TraPac container terminal and will allow Crowley to provide warehousing and distribution services to shippers involved in the Asia trade.

“As the Panama Canal is expanded, volumes of freight coming to Jacksonville from Asia could potentially increase volumes to the warehouse and allow the logistics group to increase its breadth of service offerings,” the company said.

The new location at 3700 Port Jacksonville Parkway has 20 dock doors, 30-foot clear-height ceilings, and a 160-foot truck court that can be expanded to 200 feet.

Crowley owns and or manages more than 900,000 square feet of warehouse space in locations from Miami and Los Angeles to Guatemala and Honduras.
