Executive Moves: Old Dominion and Satellite Logistics Group

Old Dominion Freight Line changes up chief executives, while Satellite Logistics Group adds to IT leadership.

   Old Dominion Freight Line has promoted Greg C. Gantt, the company’s executive vice president and chief operating officer, to president and chief operating officer. David S. Congdon will remain OD’s chief executive officer and become vice chairman. Meanwhile, J. Wes Frye, senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer, will retire, effective Dec. 31, and Adam N. Satterfield, the company’s vice president and treasurer, will become CFO. 

   Satellite Logistics Group has named Scott Moorad vice president for innovation, and James Webb as commercial software architect. Moorad and Webb joined SLG last month with the company’s acquisition of AnotherRound Apps, a provider of integrated cloud-based, mobile software solutions.
