BDP International opens new offices

The Philadelphia-based logistics and transportation solutions company opened a new office in Peru and two new offices in India.

Logistics and transportation solutions company BDP International has opened a new office in Paita, Peru and two new offices in India.
The company’s new office in Paita is located in the port’s Neptunia facility, and plans to initially export 100 containers per month.
Paita serves as one of Peru’s primary ports and mainly handles general cargo such as fishing and agricultural products, BDP said.
“Peru’s main trading partners in South America, primarily Brazil, Colombia and Chile, are interested in taking advantage of BDP’s international purchase order management services at a regional and global level,” said Hector Midolo, BDP’s managing director for Latin America.
“As we strengthen our presence in South America, customers in these markets have seen the advantage to partnering with BDP in expertise, technology and customer service, so we are excited to be able to expand and offer these capabilities on a wider scale,” said Midolo.
The new Paita facility is BDP’s second location in Peru, complementing its Lima location.
Meanwhile in India, BDP has opened one office each in Hyderabad and Baroda.
BDP has had a presence in India since 2010, with offices already existing in Bangalore, Barmer, Chennai and Gandhidham.
