New EZBook 2.0 enhancements make booking a chassis easier and faster, and give users more control over the transaction, according to chassis lessor TRAC Intermodal.
Chassis pool manager and equipment supplier TRAC Intermodal has upgraded EZBook, its web-based portal for daily chassis rentals, the company said in a statement.
New EZBook 2.0 enhancements, according to TRAC, make booking a chassis easier and faster and give users more control over the entire transaction. Among the new enhancements that gives users more control and flexibility are:
• Available equipment is now searchable by chassis size and geographical location;
• A new reuse feature is available to extend an existing usage cycle;
• Orders/bookings can now be modified or canceled, and;
• An “Orders” tab is now available to show bookings history.
Also, EZBook 2.0 is optimized for use on multiple types of mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, according to TRAC Intermodal.
The web address for EZBook remains the same, https://ezbook.tracintermodal.com. Existing customers can still log in with their current username and password information; those have not changed.
New EZBook customers must first register in TRAC Connect and then, once registered, can access EZBook at https://ezbook.tracintermodal.com and create a username and password. Once complete, bare TRAC Intermodal chassis’ can be booked.
New jersey-based TRAC Intermodal’s active fleet consists of over 264,000 chassis. The company has over 600 marine, 160 domestic and 60 depot locations across North America.
Back in February, the company rolled out its TRAC Select product, a pool of specialty chassis and services to meet specific customer and marketplace needs. TRAC Select chassis models include upgraded 40-foot marine chassis, premium 40-foot gooseneck marine chassis), tri-axles and lightweights which, depending on the chassis selection, offer features such as radial tires, LED lights, anti-lock braking systems, GPS tracking and automatic tire airing systems.
