Crowley Logistics consolidates South Florida offices
Crowley Logistics said it is consolidating its South Florida operations with the offices and warehouses of its Speed Cargo and Apparel Transportation subsidiaries into a new distribution center.
The new 148,000-square-foot distribution center is located at 9950 N.W. 17th Street. It has 50 loading doors, palletized cargo racking and hanging apparel space along with cold storage. Crowley began moving over the weekend in advance of the lease's Aug. 1 effective date.
Crowley Logistics, based in Jacksonville, Fla., is a subsidiary of Oakland, Calif.-based Crowley Maritime Corp., and is part of its liner segment.
Apparel Transportation provides air, ocean and inland transport services to apparel and textile customers throughout the United States, Central America and Asia.
Speed Cargo provides specialized transportation to and from Central America, South America and the Caribbean.
