The Russian cargo airline launched its new Houston-Abu Dhabi freight service this week.
AirBridgeCargo Airlines commenced its new Houston-Abu Dhabi freight service this week, the airline said.
Operating on a weekly basis, the new flight departs Houston Monday evenings via Chicago and Luxembourg to Abu Dhabi, returning to the airline’s hub at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo International Airport.
From Luxembourg, AirBridgeCargo provides a full range of trucking services to cover continental Europe, while from Abu Dhabi, trucking services offer connections to Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport and Dubai International Airport.
“We expect that the oil and gas industry, in particular, will benefit from this new service and naturally our sales force will be developing this destination for other commodities too,” Air Bridge Cargo Vice President, North and South America Hendrik Falk said.
