Customs advisory panel charter renewed

Homeland Security and Treasury give their approval.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said the secretaries of the Departments of Treasury and Homeland Security have approved the charter for the renewal of its Commercial Customs Operations Advisory Committee (COAC).
The charter is retroactive from May 15 and continues until May 15, 2020.
Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act Section 109 established the COAC, an advisory committee that provides Treasury and DHS with the perspectives and advice of the private sector, primarily on customs matters.
CBP is collecting comments on the charter renewal through Sept. 8.
