DEUTSCHE POST WINS LOGISTICS CONTRACT
Internet retailer boo.com has chosen Deutsche Post Group’s Kontrakt
Logistik (DPK) operating unit to provide delivery services in Europe for
goods bought on the company’s website.
boo.com, founded in Sweden, sells sportswear on-line for manufacturers
such as Fred Perry, Helly Hansen, Converse, Fila, Puma and New Balance.
DPK says it will manage transportation of boo.com shipments from
manufacturer to a logistics center in Cologne, sort and pack orders by
address, and provide delivery throughout Europe within five days. DPK will
also provide tracking, tracing, invoicing and returns services.
