The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received six ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Logic Logis, Miami (Audric A. Nadal, vice president); and Silver Freight, Alhambra, Calif. (Helen Y. Lee, vice president).
The agency also received an ocean freight forwarder license application from Golden Wings International Trade & Logistics, Weston, Fla. (Sascha Ibarra, president).
In addition, the FMC agency received an application for changes to a qualifying individual from B&A Brokers, East Boston, Mass. (Peter F. Swett Jr., vice president); LavinStar America, Iselin, N.J. (Simon J. Rego, vice president); and Unico Logistics USA, Carson, Calif. (Sang Hoon Song, chief executive officer).
Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C., at (202) 523-5843. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) — both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs — are also available on the FMC website.
