The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 11 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received a non-vessel-operating common carrier license application from Sun Ocean Lines, Miramar, Fla. (Michael Enriquez, president).
The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Aparicio Cargo & Travel Services, Doral, Fla. (Eduardo Aparicio, president); B&A Logistics USA, Bergenfield, N.J. (Lilibeth T. Ching, director); Continental Trading & Services, Jamaica, N.Y. (Efrain Gorre, president); and US General Group, Harbor City, Calif. (Sam Taghavi, chief executive officer).
The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Global Forwarding, Germantown, Tenn. (Susan J. Nolen, president); and Global Relocations, Northridge, Calif. (Hugo A. Pasparico, chief executive officer).
In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Fortune Seasons Corp., Pico Rivera, Calif. (Nadia H. Chang, president); Korchina Logistics USA, La Palma, Calif. (Sang K. Kim, chief executive officer); and Neptune Shipping Ltd., El Monte, Calif. (John Hsi, vice president); and for a business structure change to Doma Export Co. LLC from Doma Export Co. Inc., Linden, N.J. (Ludwik Wnekowicz, president).
Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) – both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs – are also available on the FMC website.
