RedTail expands to warehouse, 3PL support

RedTail Solutions, a provider of managed cloud services to mid-market suppliers and manufacturers, has released two new tools around warehouse management and third party logistics services.
RedTail EDI handles business-to-business e-commerce between suppliers and partners, and the company said it’s expanding the volume of transactions that can be supported. Synching this with the RedTail Warehouse Link allows a customer to use warehouse automation solutions for inventory management, some order processing, and enable automated generation of advance ship notices from data captured in warehouse operations, the company said.
RedTail’s 3PL Link can be integrated with its electronic data interchange (EDI) to connect 3PLs for order fulfillment and the system automatically creates warehouse shipping orders and advice for how to communicate needs to 3PLs.
The company also said its new services support a series of ERP systems from Sage, AccountMate, and Microsoft, as well as a variety of other systems from Accellos One, Scanco, ScanForce, StarShip, and UPS World Ship. Prices begin at $2,000 for the new modules and will retain usage-fee approach for its EDI offering even when synched with the new services.
