Flint

The Port of Oakland has started a search to replace Deborah Ale Flint who announced she will resign next month as aviation director.
She will become head of Los Angeles World Airports, which owns and manages Los Angeles International Airport, as well as Van Nuys Airport and Ontario International Airport.
For the past five years, Ale Flint ran Oakland International Airport, the second-largest airport in the San Francisco Bay Area. She takes over her new post in mid-July.
In 2012, Ale Flint became interim port director after a fraud scandal led to the suspension of Executive Director Omar Benjamin. Chris Lytle took over as the permanent port director in 2013.
“We are disappointed to lose such a dynamic, talented leader,” said Port of Oakland Executive Director Chris Lytle in a statement. “But she leaves behind a strong management team that will carry on her legacy of innovation, planning and financial discipline.”
