Circumference America offers intermodal container transport

Circumference America, a Jacksonville-headquartered, non-asset-based inland transportation services provider, said its Radius Rail operation will start handling ocean containers.

In addition to its existing management of 48-foot and 53-foot over-the-road trailers, Radius will now transport 20-foot, 40-foot and 45-foot containers.

“Because of our partnership with railroads like CSX, Norfolk Southern and Union Pacific, and international shippers like Pacer, Triple Crown and Schneider National, we now have access to a broader range of service equipment,” said Jesse Martinez, general manager of Radius, in a statement. “This means our customers can use Radius Rail now for both international movements moving inland via U.S. ports as well as pure domestic intermodal freight.”
