The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 19 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from LMS, Elk Grove Village, Ill. (Tim S. Lee, chief executive officer); RM Shipping & Customs, Miami (Yissel M. Munoz-Garcia, president); an Toplink Logistics, City of Industry, Calif. (Lan Cui, secretary).
The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Destination Freight, Los Angeles (Todd A. Columbus, member); Lake Shore Logistics, North East, Pa. (Bradley K. Whitley, vice president); Marco Polo Worldwide, Redondo Beach, Calif. (Yuan “Shirley” L. Ho, chief financial officer); Riverscape Forwarding, Portland, Ore. (Max Lock, member); and West Atlantic Cargo Leasing & Services Corp., Doral, Fla. (Rafael E. Sanchez Jr., vice president).
The FMC also received an ocean freight forwarder license application from Northeast International Cargo Shipping, New Castle, Del. (Olga E. Fred, manager).
In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Alison Transport, Inwood, N.Y. (Adam L. Davies, chief executive officer); Cargo Express Corp., Lawrence, Mass. (Lourdes R. Gomez, treasurer); E-Cargoway Logistics USA, Compton, Calif. (Yong Cheoll Kim, chief financial officer); GF Logistics USA, Miami (Esteban Echeverri, manager); Maxcar Export, Miami (Semmin S. Nasser, president); Nippon Steel & Sumikin Logistics (U.S.A.), Schaumburg, Ill. (Nick R. Kaczmarek, assistant vice president); Sealink International, Plano, Texas (Shaizad S. Shroff, president); United Marine Lines, Coral Gables, Fla. (Terry M. Donohoe, president); and Venezolana De Fletamentos Cavefle, Hialeah, Fla. (Manuel A. Dappo, member); and for a name change to Freight Logistics LLC fro Freight Logistics Inc., Jamaica, N.Y. (Soo P. Peter, member).
Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) – both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs – are also available on the FMC website.
