Diana Containerships acquires 11th ship

The vessel owner’s latest purchase is on charter to the Shipping Corporation of India.

   Diana Containerships has taken delivery of the 5,000-TEU containership  Santa Pamina.
   The ship, built in 2005,  is chartered at a rate of $9,500 per day, minus a 5-percent commission paid to third parties through next spring (for a period ending between March 16 and May 15) to Shipping Corporation of India.
   The ship is the 11th in Diana’s fleet, which now consists of four post-panamax and seven panamax container ships.
