COSCO APPOINTS BANK OF CHINA AS ADVISER

    The China Ocean Shipping Co. group has appointed Bank of China
International Holding Ltd., the Hong Kong-based subsidiary of Bank of China, as a
financial consultant.
    Under the agreement, the bank will provide financial consultancy on
COSCO’s optimization of assets and capital structure. COSCO said that the bank would help
to establish its financing capability for long-term development.
