Ocean carrier APL is joining CNC Line’s intra-Asia JTXCNC loop later this month.
Dubbing it the JTX, APL will commence its first sailing from Tokyo on Feb. 27.
Ocean carrier schedule and capacity database BlueWater Reporting shows the loop has a rotation of Tokyo, Yokohama, Shimizu, Nagoya, Osaka, Kobe, Keelung, Taichung, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Laem Chabang, Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Taichung, Keelung and Tokyo.
Four CNC Line vessels averaging 1,646 TEUs are deployed on the loop, with current slot purchasers including ANL, CMA CGM, MCC, TS Lines and Yang Ming, according to BlueWater Reporting.
