FedEx Trade Networks expands in Atlanta

The forwarding and customs brokerage arm of FedEx Corp. said the new facility will enhance its service offerings in the Atlanta market.

   FedEx Trade Networks, the freight forwarding and customs brokerage arm of FedEx Corp., has opened a new Atlanta gateway office.
   The 77,100-square-foot facility includes 62,000 square feet of warehouse and distribution space. It’s located less than five miles from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
   “By expanding our Atlanta operations with additional distribution space, we can help our customers improve their supply chain efficiency, transit times and overall costs with streamlined gateway solutions,” said John Gazitua, vice president of FedEx Trade Networks U.S. and Canada operations, in a statement.
