Ocean carrier Trailer Bridge is offering an additional service from the Port of Jacksonville’s Blount Island Marine Terminal to the Dominican Republic’s Santo Domingo port.

Ocean carrier Trailer Bridge is offering an additional service from the Port of Jacksonville’s Blount Island Marine Terminal to the Dominican Republic’s Santo Domingo port.
Trailer Bridge now has two sailings per week to Santo Domingo, in addition to its weekly call from Jaxport to Puerto Plata.
The Santo Domingo service uses one roll-on/roll-off (ro-ro) barge, plus a combination lift-on/lift-off and ro/ro barge to move containerized cargo, flatbed, breakbulk, passenger vehicles, large construction and farming equipment, boats and other oversized specialty cargo.
The vessels also call San Juan, Puerto Rico during the twice weekly rotation to Santo Domingo, according to Jaxport.
