Executive Moves: NRF and Greencarriers

National Retail Federation appoints new research VP, while Greencarriers picks heads of global sales and road freight.

   The National Retail Federation has appointed Mark Mathews as vice president of research development and industry analysis. He brings more than two decades of research strategy and management experience to the association. Mathews most recently led the Market Intelligence Group (MIG) at the World Gold Council as a member of the organization’s leadership. Before that, he ran the research team at London-based Palamon Capital Partners.

   Greencarrier Freight Services has appointed Mikael Forsberg as its head of global sales, and promoted Jarmo Halonen to group director of road freight. Frosberg was formerly Nordic chief commercial officer at Damco, while Halonen joined Greencarrier three years ago as managing director of freight services in Finland.
