Carmichael International expands to Charlotte

The Los Angeles-based customs broker, which is a division of APL Logistics, opened a new office in Charlotte, N.C.

   Carmichael International Service, a customs broker and division of APL Logistics, has opened a new office in Charlotte, N.C.
   “We believe Charlotte is firmly poised to grow its role as a major distribution and transportation center, especially in the textile sector, which is one of our company’s most important verticals,” said Carmichael President Todd Boice in a statement.
   Carmichael now operates in 12 U.S. locations. In addition, the company offers services in Canada via a partnership with Kintetsu World Express.
