The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 11 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Telkotrade Corp., Alamogordo, N.M. (Stefanie A. Bayer, secretary); Transparent Logistics, Long Island City, N.Y. (Traveler J. Schinz-Devico, member); and Vaishino Megamovers, Hicksville, N.Y. (Daulat R. Tannan, president).
The agency also received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Antuana Marcee Winston, Houston (Antuana M. Winston, sole proprietor); and EMS Freight Logistics, Long Beach, Calif. (Celia C. Garcia, member); and an ocean freight forwarder license application from Rellek, Celina, Texas (Carrie M. Kinsler, member).
In addition, the FMC received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Asiana Express Corp., Torrence, Calif. (Susan H. Paik-Kim, president); CAP Worldwide, Houston (Paul G. Bergman, secretary); Polonez Parcel Service, West Springfield, Mass. (Pawel Watracz, managing director of freight procurement and safety); and World Net Logistics Solutions, Gardena, Calif. (Won J. Bae, vice president); and for a name change to Cosco Shipping Logistics (North America) from Cosco Logistics (Americas), Secaucus, N.J. (Gary Schubert, executive vice president).
Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) – both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs – are also available on the FMC website.
