Executive Moves: Port of New Orleans and CHA Consulting

The Port of New Orleans elects board chairman, while CHA Consulting names head of Transportation Group.

The Port of New Orleans board has elected Michael W. Kearney chairman. Kearney represents Orleans Parish and joined the board in December of 2012 when he was appointed by former Gov. Bobby Jindal. He succeeds William T. Bergeron, whose term as chairman expired this month, but he will continue to serve as a commissioner. In addition, the board elected Robert R. Barkerding vice chairman and Laney T. Chouest secretary-treasurer.

CHA Consulting said John Hensley has joined the firm as its new Transportation Group executive. Hensley will oversee CHA’s U.S. transportation infrastructure design and planning activities. Most recently, he served as the environment business president at ARCADIS.
