New Orleans Cold Storage names Blanchard CEO

New Orleans Cold Storage has named Mark E. Blanchard as its president and chief executive officer.
Blanchard has been with the company for 24 years. He began as sales manager, was subsequently promoted to vice president of sales and marketing, and just prior to his promotion served as executive vice president. He is also a member of the company's board of directors.
The company also promoted Randy Scarpero to vice president of operations. He will oversee all warehouses and engineering departments. He joined the company 23 years ago and served as operations manager since 2005.
Operating in New Orleans since 1886, the company also operates in Houston and Charleston. It offers turnkey services on imported or exported products including blast freezing, export certification, warehouse storage, container drayage, transportation and stevedoring.
