Greene becomes TOTE Services president

Philip H. Greene Jr. will become president of TOTE Services, when Jorge Aguirre, a 33-veteran at the company, retires at the end of this month.
Aguirre spent 16 years at sea, coming ashore with TOTE Services in June 1980 as a port captain at the Philadelphia headquarters of the company, then known as Interocean Management Corp. He served as manager of operations, then senior vice president, and in 2001 was made president.
Greene joined TOTE Inc. as vice president in September 2012. A retired rear admiral with a 32-year Navy career, Greene served as the 11th superintendent of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy prior to joining TOTE and held the U.S. Transportation Department chairman at the National Defense University. – Chris Dupin
