The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 12 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Atlas International Shipping, Charlotte, N.C. (Elhadj A. Bah, member); CHK Freight, East Brunswick, N.J. (Chin H. Kao, vice president); Kamordeen A. Ganiu, Brooklyn, N.Y. (Kamordeen A. Ganiu, sole proprietor); and Skycel, Doral, Fla. (Veronica Maza, vice president).
The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Logistics Solutions International, Miramar, Fla. (Raiza E. Castro, president); Pacific Logistics USA, Miami, Fla. (Fadia Schoett, president); and Va-Cuba, Miami, Fla. (Ernesto A. Gonzalez, president).
The FMC also received an ocean freight forwarder license application from Atallah Business Group, Doral, Fla. (Ramsis E. Atallah, president).
In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Damco USA, Florham, N.J. (Jim Percival, vice president of compliance); Oceanica Logistics Group, Medley, Fla. (Miguel Morales, logistics manager); Paramount Enterprises International, Exton, Pa. (Alexander P. Schepers, vice president of logistics); and Share Logistics, Doral, Fla. (Gabriel Buedo, vice president).
Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) – both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs – are also available on the FMC website.
