FMC reviews 10 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 10 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 10 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received a non-vessel-operating common carrier/ocean freight forwarder license application from McBaker International, Houston, Texas (Jose G. Diaz, director); and ocean freight forwarder license applications from Brauns International, Ashburn, Va. (Andre Holtkamp, vice president); Cargo Net International, Miami, Fla. (Tricia M. Henriquez, manager); and Shipyourcarnow, Boca Raton, Fla. (Anthony Pisano, member).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Bruning International Corp., Holbrook, Mass. (Dennis F. Bruning, president); CTSI Logistics, Torrance, Calif. (Herminio V. Hermania Jr., vice president); Helmsman Freight Solutions, Miami, Fla. (Norma Alfonso, vice president); Share Logistics, Staten Island, N.Y. (Kenney Whitman, president); and United World Line, Cleveland, Ohio (Duncan Wright, president); and for the addition of trade name Worldwide Logistics USA from Global Holdings Group Corp., Miami, Fla. (Gustavo Belgrano, president).

Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) — both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs — are also available on the FMC website.
