Hellmann opens air freight facility in Shanghai
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics said it will open this month an air freight warehouse at Shanghai’s new Pudong airport bonded area, as part of an expansion plan in China.
The Shanghai site will provide 6,000 square meters of warehouse space and more than 2,000 square meters of office space. It will also house a temperature-humidity controlled garment-on-hangers area and an additional 2,300 square meters of covered loading area.
Hellmann added it will open another four offices in addition to its current 30 offices in China. The forwarder presently employs 600 in mainland China.
