CII names Bermingham VP sales, operations

Consolidators International, Inc. has appointed Malcolm Bermingham to the new position of vice president of sales and operations.
Bermingham, who has more than 20 years of industry experience, has worked at both customs brokerage and freight forwarding firms. Moving from Ireland to Southern California, he started his transportation career as an employee at customs broker David W. Shenk & Co. He then joined a midsized forwarder and within his 15 years there became vice president for the U.S. market.
Julian Keeling, founder and head of Los Angeles-based CII, said Bermingham’s appointment “represents the latest effort of CII to move closer to its customer base by adopting innovative measures to provide more reliable, faster and error-free service.”
Keeling also noted CII has expanded its range of services at its offices in Atlanta, JFK-New York, Chicago and Houston. “New personnel in those facilities are starting to work more closely with customers. These efforts already are bearing fruit,” he said.
