ABC starts Moscow-Heathrow freighter flights

AirBridgeCargo Airlines has launched a twice-weekly Boeing 747 freighter service that links the London Heathrow Airport to Moscow.

AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has started a twice-weekly Boeing 747 freighter service that links the London Heathrow Airport to Moscow.
The flights, which operate Thursdays and Saturdays, offer customers more than 100 tons of cargo capacity, ABC said. The Russian cargo carrier’s Heathrow flights mark its 14th European service.
ABC plans to benefit from the U.K. government’s effort to expand Heathrow’s operations by another 40 flight destinations and nearly double its cargo capacity. The airport is investing 180 million pounds over 15 years to improve its cargo infrastructure and processes.
