Executive Moves: DB Schenker Rail, Scandinavian Bunkering and Sparrows Point Terminal

DB Schenker Rail names new CEO, while Scandinavian Bunkering appoints managing director and Sparrows Point Terminal picks advisor.

   Jürgen Wilder has been appointed chief executive officer of European freight operator DB Schenker Rail, effective Dec. 1. Wilder was formerly at Siemens, where he last served as the CEO of the unit for high-speed, intercity and regional trains as well as locomotives. 

   Sparrows Point Terminal has named Mike Mullen senior advisor. Mullen, retired chief executive officer and a founding partner of CenterPoint Properties Trust, has overseen the development of more than 70 million square feet of industrial, air cargo and rail intermodal property during his career. He also sits on numerous real estate and investment firm boards.

   Scandinavian Bunkering has appointed Erik Vinde managing director. He joined the company in 2006 and was most recently chief operating officer.
