DHL opens new facility at Baltimore airport
DHL said its newly opened $1.6 million facility at the Baltimore/Washington International Airport should increase its operations in the region by 25 percent.
The company also anticipates improved handling of aircraft containers, additional load positions for vehicles, and an increase in freight volumes.
The 18,663-square-foot facility will provide for additional routes in Baltimore, and to various locations in Howard County, Md., including Columbia, Elkridge, Hanover, and Jessup.
The facility employs about 30 people.
