Pilot Freight lands in Mexico

Third party logistics services provider Pilot Freight Services has expanded to Mexico City, where it’s operating under the name Pilot de Mexico.

   Third party logistics services provider Pilot Freight Services has expanded to Mexico City, where it’s operating under the name Pilot de Mexico. 
   Pilot’s Mexico City station offers operational and administrative support, warehousing and logistics services, and access to northbound, southbound and intra-Mexico ground and air transportation.
   The Lima, Pa.-based company said it’s also considering other locations in Mexico. 
   “For Pilot, Mexico is a market with tremendous growth and potential. Its economy is the 11th largest in the world, so it was a natural step in our continued growth,” Richard Phillips, chief executive officer of Pilot Freight Services, said in a statement. “We’re eager to get started, and confident in Pilot de Mexico’s future.”
