FMC reviews 19 OTI license applications

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 19 license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Evastar, Daytona Beach, Fla. (Eva M. Piper, member); Relaciones Cibaeno Express, Jackson Heights, N.Y. (Ygnacio Valdez, president); and Sigmai (Asia) Ltd., Hong Kong (Amir Demri, director).
   The agency received NVO-ocean freight forwarder license applications from 101 Shipping, Lomita, Calif. (Hyung K. Shin, president); A.&A. Trading, Houston (Mohammad J. Warsi, secretary, Coreana Express (Seattle), Kent, Wash. (Mi Kyung “Megan” Yoo, president); and Ruky International Shipping Line, Edison, N.J. (Amarasena A. Rupasinghe, member).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from M&D Global Logistics, Hacienda Heights, Calif. (Jeffrey Wu, treasurer); SOS International Shipping Corp., Weeki Wachee, Fla. (Anthony Cavaliere, secretary); and Welcome Freight Forwarding, Miami (Gustavo T. Navarro, president).
   In addition, the agency received applications for changes to qualifying individuals from CAP Worldwide, Houston (Jair Pitty, treasurer); Danzas Corp., Plantation, Fla. (Ahmet Erener, vice president), HTNS America, Carson, Calif. (Wong Sang Jang, president); Interfreight Harmonized Logistics, Inwood, N.Y. (Thomas E. Staub, president), Metro Freight Services, Linden, N.J. (Paola C. Samaha, president); and Transportes Zuleta, Miami (Carmen L. Rodriguez, treasurer); and for trade name changes from Cruises Logistics USA, Medley, Fla. (Ivonne Zani, vice president); Global Wine Logistics, East Brunswick, N.J. (Anita McNeil, president); and Kuehne + Nagel, Jersey City, N.J. (Peter Hofmann, vice president of export compliance).
