The International Trade Commission pushed back decisions on whether to institute Section 337 investigations because of the partial government shutdown.

The International Trade Commission has decided to extend by 35 days the deadlines for final determinations on whether to institute Section 337 investigations, after the government remained partially shut down for 35 days in December and January, the ITC announced.
The ITC will extend deadlines until Monday for certain pocket lighters, Feb. 19 for certain pickup truck folding bed cover systems and components thereof and Feb. 28 both for certain dental and orthodontic scanners and software, as well as certain integrated circuits and products containing the same.
