FMC names new enforcement director

Attorney Benjamin Trogdon joined the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission in 2000.

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has appointed Benjamin K. Trogdon to director of the Bureau of Enforcement, effective Sunday.
   Trogdon succeeds Brian L. Troiano, who is retiring from the agency this month.
   Trogdon joined the FMC in July 2000 and has served as an attorney adviser to the Office of the General Counsel and most recently as a trial attorney in the Bureau of Enforcement.
   Prior to joining the FMC, he served as a maritime attorney in private practice.
