Green Street Ads, a global branding agency, released a new Web-based tool called GeoBrand that allows customers to create branded, custom global maps to show assets and pathways for things like supply chain operations, service and sales centers, warehouses, and inventory.
The maps can be shared as dynamic sales and planning tools supported by email, Web links, PowerPoint, and other services.
Maps are built using a geographic information system (GIS), which integrates, edits, analyzes, displays, and shares geographic data for decision making purposes. GIS merges map-making tools with internal analytics and a company’s databases.
Green Street was piloted and improved by a global logistics services provider before it was released to the general market, the company said.
