Ryder Systems acquires 4 GÆs Truck Renting
Ryder System Inc., the Miami-based provider of transportation, logistics and supply chain management services, has bought 4 G's Truck Renting Co., a privately owned local truck leasing and rental company in Brooklyn, N.Y. Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
Ryder acquires 4 G's fleet of 400 vehicles and 100 customers. Ryder will service those customers from its branches in the Greater New York area, 'thus leveraging its existing infrastructure,' Ryder said in a statement.
